grass-eating is not something new to be seen on house pets. however there are no clear answer to why they are doing it. some said for digestion, some said for sick stomach, some said for the juices of the grass, the vitamins in it. but the most believing one would be to remove indigestible substances, like furballs n bones.

Yea... They need to eat grass or they will be sick. All my cats do this at least once a month.
