Strain: Strategic Armored Infantry (2006)

Strain (poster)

following her brother's footsteps, she joined the military only to find out that he had became a traitor. she had to work her way up to confront her brother. an interesting anime worth catching, where space fighting were used as its theme. beautifully colored in bee-like form, the mecha itself was enough to keep the intensity flowing.

some background on the anime:
- episodes: 13
- director: Tetsuya Watanabe (渡邊哲哉)
- released: 2006
- language: Japanese
- genre: Action/Science-Fiction

  1. sounds like an intriguing story that I'd like to watch.

  2. I remember something a lot like this when I was younger, and now I can't think of the name, its going to bug me all night!

  3. Looks like Gundam. About robot right?

  4. I think I watch this before... The mechas look like insects one. The animation compare with Gundam I prefer Gundam but I like the storyline which is pretty short and sweet.

  5. life ramblings:
hopefully you'll get to catch it!

yiiks, hopefully you are able to recall the name n get it out of your system soon!

sort of similar, only the characters were a lot more childish n amateur in this sense.

not much mecha animation are able to be compared to gundam, but i agree, simplicity sometimes made an anime enjoyable!
