Award: Marie Antoinette

Comment(s)

was awarded the lovely Marie Antoinette award by -david-. reminded me of the 2006 movie of with Kirstin Dunst casting as marie, i had found history so much more interesting n colorful than expected.
Queen Marie Antoinette was the epitome of a real, fun, fearless woman who was never afraid of getting what she wants.

Marie Antoinette (1755-1793) started out an archduchess of Austria. at the age of 14, she married Louis-Auguste. in 1774, her husband ascended the throne as Louis XVI, and she was titled the Queen of France. after 7 years of marriage she gave birth to 4 children. during the Reign of Terror (French Revolution), her husband was deposed. in 1793, she was executed of treason, joining her husband's death nine months later.

Reversing.

sometimes being taken for granted, sometimes being brushed aside; being on a different wavelength was equally tormenting. yet while sitting in the dark with scenes flashing by, appreciation surfaced to overwrite these upsetting frustrations.

in tolerance with one's fiery temper, through difficult ups n downs, a slow mutual understanding formed secretively. feelings often remained hidden, attention was paid on weighting one's importance. future holds treasurable mysteries, so much more to anticipate!

Winged Cat (Picture)

came across the picture on the web. though many would love to believe in Flying Cats, the real explanation is medical, instead of mystical. there are 3 causes: matted fur (especially long-haired cats), skin condition (feline cutaneous asthenia),or extra limbs. still, lovely isn't it!

Browser: Flock

Flock

came across the (new?) browser just days ago. being fed up with firefox n IE recent nonstop "not responding" (hang) status, i set out in search of new browser to test upon. the first feature i noticed was its integrated facebook toolbar on the browser's status bar (see screen captured below), definitely the most friendly feature towards facebook addicts .. i mean, users.

flock is said to be an "enhanced version of firefox". have you tried it out? or notice any pros n cons of this particular browser?
