31st August is Malaysia's Independence Day (Hari Merdeka).
this year - 2007 - it will be the 50th anniversary of its independence from the British colonial rule. there are excessive amounts of flags being displayed, especially in town area. a sign of loving the country? hm ..
schools
us, the younger generation, has no contribution to the country anymore .. or maybe because we are not allowed to. those who voiced the truth will be punished (just as the case of 黄明志).
what else can we do? it is sad that things have to turn out this way, despite the beautiful n free-from-natural-disaster country that we are living in. *sigh*
