Humidity.

humidity adding boredom n drowsiness to the afternoon air, agitation slipped in swiftly unnoticed. though fun rating dropped, none were treated nor thrown aside like some rag doll; with minimal toleration from both, gratefulness soon overwrote n lifted the tensed atmosphere. agitation ran off whining in defeat, tail tugged between its hind legs. distance, again, invisibly drew closer n tighter.
