the evil Emperor Han was cursed by a powerful sorceress, where him n his army was transformed into stone mummies. many years later, an explorer Rick n his wife Evelyn were invited by the government to take a relic diamond named "The Eye of Shangri-La" to China. this stone was capable of resurrecting the evil Emperor n point its way to the eternal pool of life. when they reached China, they met with their son Alex, who has already discovered the tomb of the evil Emperor. they were betrayed n all the mummies were resurrected. they had to stab the Emperor's heart with a cursed dagger to prevent him from reaching Shangri-La.
like most of the Mummy sequels, the humor was good, the pace was fast, filled with actions n environment changes that kept us highly interested. the scenes were so detailed we were sometimes doubting whether it was CGI or actual scenes put to use. the plot was simple, a little too predictable, which can be an add since there were quite a number of supernatural beings introduced that were so much more interesting than a complicated storyline. it was a pity that Jet Li didn't show his face too much in action; but the Yetis however, was a very impressive idea!
