a group of Americans went on a vacation in Mexico. Mathias invited the group to visit the ruins of a Mayan temple. they were surrounded by Mayan villagers once they reached the ruins, armed with revolver, rifle n bow. they would not allow the group to leave the ruin. they thought it was a strange believe the villagers hold, but it was more than that. the ruined was covered by bloodthirsty plants, which killed everyone who set foot in it. n they were next.
there weren't much horror in the film, but way too much torturous scenes. such as the attempt to move a seriously injured person with a broken backbone, slicing open a piece of flesh to remove a root or two, or maybe crashing the bones n cutting off a foot with a hunting knife just to avoid infection, which were so much more disturbing! a fright or two won't caused one to feel nausea, but these scenes definitely does the trick.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE horror/scary films, but not if they're too violent or bloody. I think I'll pass on this one - HA!
