Hachiko: A Dog's Story (2009)

Hachiko: A Dog's Story

based on a true story, it was about the bond between a college professor n his dog. he found an abandoned dog on the train station one night n decided to take it home after no one claimed it. the story was supposed to take place in japan since this particular dog statue can actually be found at one train station. as for the plot, it was simple. even when the owner died, the dog continued waiting for him at the station, n expectantly died there. the pure beauty of this film was its devotion n willpower. n of course enjoyed watching the fluffy pet running around.

some backgrounds on the movie:
- director: Lasse Hallström

- casts: Richard Gere, Joan Allen, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Sarah Roemer, Jason Alexander, Erick Avari
- language: English
- genre: Drama/Family

  2. Thank you so much for sharing this great review Levian, because I've been meaning to watch this move, but haven't yet.

Everyone I've talked to said they LOVED it. I know it's a tear-jerker, but I like movies that make me cry.

    Adorable dog!

i'm sure it will make you cry, as you have hoped. it made me feel rather down after watching it, which was so difficult to brush off!

  4. I wanted to rent this movie for the kids. Animal stories will always be popular. Amos and Otis is still my favorite.
