Minami was a high school girl who had passion for baseball. her best friend Yuki, who had weak health, was the manager of the baseball club before she was hospitalized. Minami decided to lead the team to Championship, following Yuki's footstep. having no experience, she built her strategies by referring to a business management book written by Peter Drucker, which she bought mistakenly at the bookstore.
having watched the Moshidora (2011) anime, it was obvious that the Live-Action film was a compact version of the 10 episodes anime. however, unlike its anime, which slowly brought forward our interest by connecting baseball to Drucker's management book; the Live-Action only dulled the interest. by the time the film ended, i was just glad to have finished watching it as it had been so uninteresting. the players in no way stood out from one another, giving me a hard time recognizing one character from another. nor were there any development as i didn't feel anything significant, even with Yuki's death.
