the floating city Musashi sought refuge in England after the Mikawa Conflict. but a sudden chaos took place and sent Musashi in the middle of the invasion of England by the Spanish. the students of Ariadust Academy were forced to use their unique abilities to fend off the enemy while defending Horizon, the resurrected heir to the Mikawa throne.
like in Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon (2011), the story setting can be very confusing at times. it was futuristic, historic and fantasy at the same time, leaving us feeling rather conflicted. romance in Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon II (2012) was very satisfying. it applied not only on the main characters, but also the supporting characters. the humors were random, though sometimes not exactly appropriate. it some ways, the series reminded me of Gurren Lagann (2007), especially for being whacky, but in a good way.
