Catch My Breath (2012) was taken from Kelly Clarkson's first Greatest Hits album, Greatest Hits: Chapter One (2012). it was one of the three new songs for the album, released in October 2012. the song was written by her, with its lyric showing her journey ever since winning the American Idol in 2002. the other 3 new songs were Don't Rush (2012) and People Like Us (2012).
