the story took place in a world where minors were enforced with curfews and youth were given little freedom. the youngsters continued to fight for their own freedom through underground methods, against Fumito, a man with great influence in the political world. one rebellious group was called Sirrut, they used the internet as their weapon to find out more about Fumito. at the same time, they learned about the Tower, which was the secret organization that engaged in human experimentation.
for this movie, Saya returned as the martial art vampire-girl with a mission. she was always entertaining to look at, especially when she needed to face powerful enemy such as Fumito. the familiarity was welcoming. the new characters created an atmosphere that could be considered lighthearted if compared to its dark plot. the introduction of Mana had us felt relatable to the whole storyline just as Saya dropped in to spice the adventure up.
