Paranoia (2013)

Paranoia

Adam was a new inventor for a corporation ran by Wyatt. after being fired, he used the company's credit card partying with his friends at a club. he was later retrieved and threatened into becoming a corporate spy for Wyatt. he was trained in a short period to join Goddard's company, who was formerly Wyatt's mentor. after entering the company, Adam had to supply Goddard with a software to track everyone through their mobile phones while recording their conversations, at the same time gaining his trust. later approached by an FBI agent, Adam found out that his colleagues that transferred to Goddard's company all turned up dead soon after.

having little expectation, the film turned out to be entertaining throughout its airtime. with coverage but not too much in the technology field, it was actually viewer-friendly for us who often struggled with technicalities. Adam was like a tiny character compared to Wyatt and Goddard, who had such strong characteristics that it was difficult to decide whether we love or hate them. despite being the weakest character, it was easy to sympathize Adam having no say in all situations. the twists were mostly predictable but relatable, also making it believable.
