Mei was a quiet girl who spent her high school years without making any friends due to a childhood incident that left her believing that people will betray each other sooner or later. one day she accidentally injured Yamato, the most popular boy in school. for some reason, he became interested in her and declared her his friend. their friendship soon blossomed, even allowed Mei to finally began to befriend others.
with only 2 main characters for the series, there were plenty of character developments, which through their pasts and different stories revealed, we were soon falling in love with both Mei and Yamato. we watched as their relationship started with just a simple interest, to friendship and finally romance. despite being another typical romance series, it was both heartwarming and engaging, which made it worthwhile and absolutely entertaining.
