the lives of 4 schoolgirls, led by an otaku (a person who is obsessive with anime, manga, video games). honest n mischievous, she drew smile into everyone's life, as well as annoyed some. friendship never failed them when fun is always in the air! anime here: Lucky Star.

love, wondrous to behold. more unpredictable than glass-like transparent. every run into the wall eventually lead to an opened door when two hands held tight. having faith in Him, having faith in each other, even during the most impossible moment miracles exist.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008)

it was their final year in highschool, they struggled with the idea of being separated in college. i had always been a huge fan of musical themed films, n HSM was definitely one of the greatest production of Disney. after airing 2 movies on TV, the third was popular enough to go on screen in the cinema. unfortunately, its storyline had started to get lame n expressions were overly exaggerated to be truly entertaining.

Marveling.

repeatedly the pieces were taken down n put up. position measured, bolt n nuts compared n matched, accuracy increased resulted in each progress. self modification put to test, customization came in handy, saving few bucks for what seemed to matter more.

Halloween: Kuroshitsuji 黒執事

a 12-year-old child who was the head of a noble family had a contract with a demon, which the demon will serve as his personal butler, taking care of him as well as rescuing him when many aimed to hurt n take advantage of him. anime here: Kuroshitsuji.

The Lovely Bones (2010)

she was murdered by a serial killer n lingered on earth. she must then decide between vengeance n granting her parents the chance to heal. the story was eerie in a way how close a murderer can be with its victims, n how often it was planned to allow no escape. fortunately the film ended well despite being long-winded.

received a nomination from -dempsey-, saying that i was nominated by a "Rick Ng" with a comment "Her passion towards Animation is amazing. it was a story of a princess n her new butler, who was very capable of taking care n protecting her from all harms way. his new life began after being abandoned by his parents n hired by a rich girl, as her personal butler. anime here: Hayate no Gotoku.

they were from a family formed by staircases of siblings. but even the closest of them have disagreements. after 4 decades, living under different environment; things changed, attitude changed, as well as situation n relationship. what was leftover was a perfect photograph with invisible cracks.

Sammy's Adventures: The Secret Passage (2010)

a story of a sea turtle from hatching to 50 years of age, travelling around the world when global warming slowly changed the sea n environment. although it was slightly frustrating when he gave up on every single challenge, it was still fun watching him overcoming those fears for friends. an absolutely lively n exciting adventure worth joining!

from the far end of the room she watched on as they marched sweetly down the isle in parallel. the whole table squealed the night away, stuffing course after course down their throat. the musical rhythm increased its speed deep into the night, marking the end that drew near slowly.

the story of 4 schoolgirls, living in Hidamari Apartment, which was located right opposite their school. it was about their new life, with new friends n teachers to guide them, sharing among themselves the happiness n fears in life. anime here: Hidamari Sketch.

think the writer of the film 2012 (2010) came out with the idea from thin air? think again. sinkholes happened from natural depression caused by the removal of soil/rock by water under the surface. they can form slowly or instantly. below are 5 of the amazing sinkholes, in alphabetical order:

Alpha and Omega (2010)

each wolf having their own role n responsibilities within the pack social structure. before she was able to fulfill the arranged marriage to merge the western n eastern pack, they were captured for a wolf repopulation project. they had to get back before the 2 packs fought to destroy each other. though with simple plot, its clear n precise drawings, n most importantly - sincere emotions, made it an absolutely beautiful animation!

Erstwhile.

seemed so long ago, she has forgotten the days when she stuffed herself so full every meal. luxurious life she once lived, sheltered under their gigantic wings. when it came back to her for the past weekend, she relived the long-hour working life, the late night she stayed awake, the morning that always seemed to come way too soon.

Strain: Strategic Armored Infantry (2006) 奏光のストレイン

following her brother's footsteps, she joined the military only to find out that he had became a traitor. she had to work her way up to confront her brother. an interesting anime worth catching, where space fighting were used as its theme. beautifully colored in bee-like form, the mecha itself was enough to keep the intensity flowing.

Larksome.

drunk from lightness n gleefulness, she giggled n babbled on high-spiritedly. more than a year since the last actual gathering, she still has the charm to easily influenced those around her with her contagious happiness n contentment as the night drew closer n closer to an end.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)

their forth year at Hogwarts, Voldemort's Death Eaters started appearing, causing frenzy across the magical community. during the Triwizard Tournament, 3 schools of magic were gathered n the strongest of each school were chosen through Goblet of Fire, to participate. this sequel started out rather confusingly, but when the tournament started, that was when the fun began as well. each turn of the tournament never failed to hold our attention!

picked up from where was left off in season 1, of her improving her violin skills without the magical violin. at the same time, influenced some new characters to play music. nothing much happening with this short 2 episodes.

buried among the crowd, she sat watching outside the extent. under the spotlight he stood, a spotlight she too once stood proudly. distracted, she was nothing but just another shadow in the horde to him; he was then, suddenly someone utterly unknown to her. it was a day that seemed like any other day, yet so different from any other.

Bedtime Stories (2008)

a handyman at a hotel, his life finally changed when the bedtime stories he told while babysitting his niece n nephew came to life. personally i feel that Adam Sandler was way better in Big Daddy (1999). since then, his comedies had gone downhill to lame. the children were adorable, his characteristics were the reason the film was ruined.

La Corda D'Oro ~Primo Passo~ (2005) 金色のコルダ

a reverse-harem anime, where 1 girl was surrounded by many guys. she was a normal stream student, selected together with a few music students to join the music competition. the anime started out with a musical plot, but soon became purely romance n personal. quite dragging, recommending Nodame Cantibile instead.

Affliction.

"no!" she whispered, voice suddenly hoarse. she had never heard him like that. he had done nothing to threaten her, yet nothing could have forced her to move pass him. she didn't know what in the world he was talking about, but the coldness of his words made her bones ache. shuddered, her stomach cramped, pulsed against her inside.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)

third year at Hogwarts, a dangerous criminal escaped from Azkaban prison coming after him. dementors were sent by Voldemort to guard the school ground, finding any chance to absorb his soul. an interesting sequel of Harry Potter, where the bad guys don't necessarily be the bad guys, while the good guys may not be the good guys at all. with time travel, the whole sequel was even more intense n captivating!

yuki (ゆき、雪)

as we were putting up the lanterns, he was busy lurking around, checking the surroundings. after everything was up n ready, he stood watching. which very soon after, lost his interest n went on with his own business.

Shion no Ou (2007) しおんの王

her parents were murdered in front of her during childhood. traumatized, she lost her voice ever since the incident. adopted, she played shougi (将棋) as taught by her father. as she became more popular, her past came back to haunt her, leading her to the killer. an interesting anime, though i still know nothing about shougi (将棋) after finishing the anime. however the mystery of who the killer was kept the suspense going.

Aversion.

the air smelled of dampness, the wind icy cold against her moisten skin. she didn't know why seeing it in broad daylight made it worst. always too eerie to swallow, never fail to turn her inside. night softens it, made it less real. she appreciated the darkness, throwing everything into black n white.
