The Last Airbender (2010)

The Last Airbender

the world was divided into 4 kingdoms (air, water, earth, fire). he was the avatar, capable of mastering all 4 elements. however an incident caused him to have to travel from kingdom to kingdom mastering their skills; while at the same time, defend everyone from the fire lord, who wish to take over all kingdoms. a film with awesome graphics but most of the time, the beauty was completely ruined by its agonizingly slow-paced n draggy scenes. n worst, the story ended abruptly!

some backgrounds on the movie:
- director: M. Night Shyamalan
- released: 2010
- casts: Noah Ringer, Dev Patel, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Shaun Toub, Aasif Mandvi, Cliff Curtis, Seychelle Gabriel
- language: English
- genre: Adventure/Fantasy

  4. "this movie sucks" was what i overheard when i was on my way out of the theater, but personally, i like it nonetheless ;) princess, the last airbender in Anime is better, rite? :D something isn't rite with this movie when it has to end the way it had to due to the time being hehe... I wonder if there will be the last airbender II, or even III coming out :)

  5. I like the making of the film but don't like the story. It is some what similar to old fiction movies. I watch such movies just for time passing, nothing else.

  6. I like the movie. But mostly I don't dislike any movie :) May be the reason is that I just watch movies for fun with my friends, and in your gathering, there is nothing to dislike .

it sure does! without it, the film won't be as beautiful n mesmerizing. :)

    Akira:
you "kinda like it"? or do you "like it so much"? :)

    Ayie:
how about getting a disc to watch it together? :)

    Barbie:
from the look of it, they sure are planning its sequels, but i guess it shall depend on the respond they get from this first sequel. i was greatly disappointed, especially seeing its trailer. beautiful i admit, but it was just way tooooo slow to please.

    fire:
i didn't get to catch the making of the film. but i agree with you on the typical fiction part. i probably expected too much after watching its trailer. :p

    death:
watching movies on gathering? why not eat out for a better chance of catching up? i love watching movies, for its adventure n completely different world compare to ours. probably the exact reason i was disappointed when my expectancy wasn't met. :p
