Zodiac: Ophiuchus

Ophiuchus

Ophiuchus (pronounced oh-fee-you-cuss) in Greek meant "serpent-bearer", commonly represented as a man grasping the snake. it was formerly referred to as Serpentarius, a Latin word meaning the same as its current name.

the latest astrological rumor of the 13th zodiac sign being Ophiuchus started when astronomy professor (Parke Kunkle) talked to the newspaper n caused people to jump into an astrological identity chaos. people started to wonder if they would went to bed a Gemini n woke up a Taurus. expert astrologer (Rick Levine) said "Ophiuchus has nothing to do with Astrology. it has to do with the stars, not a sign, but a constellation. there are 4 seasons, therefore making it 12 zodiac signs, impossible for a 13th." few astrologers follow the constellation-based zodiac, but it was only by 1%. so there you go, listen to the experts, but don't believe everything until all the facts are checked. we may think we understand astrology but probably not thorough enough to truly understand it. for now, there will be no Ophiuchus zodiac sign for any of us.

  3. Thank you so much for sharing this, Levian!

Being someone who is very interested in astrology, I found this post awesome!!!

    And you're right...

"listen to the experts, but don't believe everything until all the facts are checked. we may think we understand astrology but probably not thorough enough to truly understand it."

Astology is very involved, so it takes a great deal of study to fully understand it.

    Again, thank you for sharing!

  5. Hi Levian!

I was out of town in Florida working, so I wasn't online much in the last week or so.

Anyway, I haven't heard of Ophiuchus before until I read this.

I want to continue waking up being a Sagittarius! LOL!

    See ya later my friend!

    tekkaus:
    haha, you are early.

    ron:
i agree. it took much more effort than what we are doing now to truly understand how n what is going on with the stars. personally, i can barely grasp the idea of looking at the stars myself. make me wonder how many years it took them to recognize each n everyone of them?

    barbie:
haha, what coincidence, princess! it imagine it to be weird. since the zodiac portrays our personality, i can't imagine waking up having a different personality than how i was behaving yesterday. it just seemed, absurd! haha!

    david:
you are all over the place again i see. do take extra care of yourself. i only know that you are still having lots of fun watching the games. haha! it is difficult to not love the zodiac that we were born with, isn't it?
