after failing to get into the police academy, Chris settled for a security job with the armored truck company. first day at work, despite being a security company, Chris noticed the lack of security for the company. he mentioned this observation to his childhood friend, Eddie. motivated, Eddie started an elaborated scheme to rob the cash stored in the security company. even though Christ was unwilling to cooperate, he was unavoidable connected to the crime.
despite having some promising casts for the film, the plot was unnecessarily complicated and uninteresting. from its very beginning, the friendship between Chris and Eddie was frustrating to look at. especially since Eddie was such a bad person, it didn't come off believing that a completely opposite character like Chris would be best friends with him. with the involvement of the NYPD detective as well as local crime bosses that wanted to know who pulled a job on their turf, things got complicated and went downhill every since. the film reminded me of The Town (2010), but a bad version of it.
