the story took place between Pitch Black (2000) and The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), in animation. Riddick left the planet with 2 other survivors - Jack, the teenager and Iman, the religious man. they were captured by a spaceship led by a leader, Chillingsworth whom collected villains to be made living statues for display. she had her sights set on Riddick.
while the graphic wasn't as impressive as recent available products, the animation and plot was entertaining enough for Riddick's fan. it was fast paced and always impressive as we watched Riddick fend of enemies and deadly creatures to save himself and the other survivors. while the animation was supposedly to be watched before The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), it actually made more sense if the animation was watched after The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), where its viewers would also be much more appreciative.
some backgrounds on the movie:
- director: Peter Chung
- released: 2004
- casts: Vin Diesel, Rhiana Griffith, Keith David, Roger Jackson, Tress MacNeille, Nick Chinlund, Dwight Schultz, Sarge

regarding the comment "the graphic wasn't as impressive as recent available products..." i dont know about that. Peter Chung on character design and Eric Canete on backgrounds? as you would expect, this is raw as hell.
